Privacy Policy
Draft for review. This text is a starting point. Have it reviewed by a Sri Lankan lawyer (including against the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022) before launch.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Owner details: business name, address, district and optional registration number.
- Your location, only when you tap “Near me”. We do not store a history of where you have been.
- Payment records for paid facilities. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by LooGo.
- Security logs such as sign-in times and IP addresses, to protect accounts from misuse.
What we never show publicly
Your phone number, email, payment history, balances and location are never shown to other users. Reviews show only your display name.
Your choices
You can update your details, change notification preferences, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account by contacting support.
Retention
Security logs are kept for 90 days. Financial records are kept for the period required by Sri Lankan law, even after an account is closed.
